About the position

The Sales Operations Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the Sales and Marketing group at Evident Scientific. This position is responsible for assisting outside sales representatives, the marketing team, and executive managers with various projects and tasks, ensuring smooth operations for the Sales Team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage backlog to ensure timely shipping of orders.
  • Oversee Salesforce CRM processes, including training and daily support for the sales team.
  • Document and enhance sales processes within the CRM program.
  • Manage sales compensation and promotional programs in collaboration with sales management and finance teams.
  • Handle web lead responses and reporting, ensuring sales leadership is informed of challenges.
  • Monitor web lead and sales order surveys, promoting improvements for customer service.
  • Manage the sales territory identification system for the Americas, providing maps and data for managers and reps.
  • Organize sales trainings and meetings, including logistics and attendee coordination.
  • Create training and presentation materials using Office 365 to communicate processes and metrics.
  • Assist with basic IT troubleshooting for software like SFDC and Office 365.
  • Support the Webster facility with trainings, events, and visitor coverage.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new hires, introducing them to HR, Payroll, and Sales processes.
  • Serve as a backup to the Supervisor, Sales & Commercial Operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a similar field preferred.
  • 3+ years of administrative experience; will consider HS Diploma with 5+ years of experience.
  • CRM and ERP administrative support experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of SFDC and Netsuite is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications are required.
  • Experience working alongside and supporting all levels of Sales Representatives.
  • Experience working with Senior Leadership and Executives.
  • Event planning and coordination experience.
