About the position

The Sales Operations Analyst position at Apartments in Richmond, VA, is designed for a self-starter Data Analyst who will play a crucial role in supporting the management and optimization of the sales function. The analyst will be responsible for developing key metrics, delivering analyses and reporting, and providing actionable insights to improve business operations. This role requires collaboration across various departments to identify information gaps and resolve data quality issues, ultimately contributing to strategic decision-making within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build reports, create models and analyses to identify trends and improve existing business processes.
  • Build and maintain critical dashboards, reports, and presentations for key leaders to facilitate quick decision-making.
  • Leverage a data-first approach to identify critical business trends and deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize strategic opportunities with regional sales leadership.
  • Utilize multiple data sources (primarily MS/T-SQL) to build datasets and perform ad hoc analyses that drive insights.
  • Partner across departments to identify key information gaps and develop plans to address them.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve data quality and reconciliation issues.
  • Serve in a consultative role with clients to advise on best practices.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Business Intelligence and analytics experience.
  • 2+ years of Power BI visualization and development experience.
  • 2+ years SQL Server experience including query writing and dataset creation.
  • Strong technical aptitude to analyze data and interpret trends in large datasets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing business objectives.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.

  • Experience with data modeling software.
