About the position

The Sales Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the overall channel through effective data management and ensuring data accuracy across various documents. This position is primarily focused on creating automation processes and enhancing the customer experience. The analyst will manage the effectiveness of business processes, conduct thorough analyses, and make informed recommendations based on their findings. They will also be responsible for developing documentation and standard work procedures, coordinating training sessions, and implementing approved processes to ensure smooth operations. In addition to these responsibilities, the Sales Operations Analyst will provide solutions and perform analyses for Builder and Multifamily portfolios. This includes a variety of tasks and projects as required by management to retain and acquire customers. The analyst will analyze customer accounts, spreadsheets, and databases to proactively address discrepancies, validate data from various sources, and ensure that report data meets stakeholder needs. They will maintain SAP tables, produce validation reports, and monitor compliance with the Commission SOX control process. The role also involves maintaining master lists for customer activity, troubleshooting issues related to missing properties or incorrect account setups, and recording all issues for tracking and escalation. The analyst will be expected to ask critical questions to identify root causes of issues and develop process documentation to train new team members or facilitate the launch of new processes or systems. Additionally, they will manage small projects and miscellaneous tasks assigned by management, while also creating and maintaining models using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Support overall channel in data management and document review for data accuracy.

  • Develop process documentation and conduct training for new team members.

Requirements

  • 1 to 2+ years' experience in a problem-solving, research capacity, and data modeling.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365: Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, VBA/macros for data manipulation and automation.
  • Strong analytical and technical aptitude with critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including listening skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of CCS, Siebel, IRW, Salesforce, and BW software.
  • Experience in a deregulated work environment.
