About the position

Zinnia is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join our team in Greenwich, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for various administrative and operational functions that ensure seamless sales support and optimize processes. The Sales Operations Analyst will work cross-functionally across Sales, Operations, Technology, and Marketing, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have superior attention to detail and a proven ability to execute both standardized and ad hoc processes quickly, consistently, and accurately. This position requires strategic thinking, a strong work ethic, initiative, and problem-solving skills. As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will manage multiple concurrent projects, understand priorities, and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance. You will optimize sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking, process improvement, and system enhancements. Conducting business analysis, including customer and market analysis for leads and prospects, will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will apply quantitative analysis and data visualization to tell the story behind the numbers, understand the reporting needs of the Sales Department, and prepare reports, proposals, and presentations. Additionally, you will conduct planning and preparation for prospect visits and conferences, executing on these plans to support the sales team in driving revenue growth post-event. You will serve as a point of contact for sales team members regarding questions and logistics, developing strong collaborative relationships with aligned lines of business to effectively achieve data needs, analyze results, and complete RFPs/RFIs. Managing various aspects of the CRM, including workflow design, reporting, data integrity, and maintenance, will also be part of your role, ensuring the quality and accuracy of contacts and accounts databases.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the quality and accuracy of contacts and accounts databases.

Requirements

  • Two to five years of strong analytical and problem-solving experience in business development, technology, or operations.
  • BA/BS degree in a technology or business-oriented field is preferred.
  • Experience in the annuity and life insurance industry with outsourcing experience is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills including organization, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, data manipulation, dashboard creation, and business intelligence skills.
  • Experience using CRM and Analytical Tools (i.e., Hubspot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across groups and levels within the organization.
