About the position

The Sales Operations Analyst will serve as a vital business partner to the sales and marketing teams, focusing on providing insights, optimizing processes, and enhancing efficiency within sales operations. This role involves developing sales reports, analyzing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading various projects to align account plans with company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance metrics.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sales processes and workflows.
  • Assist in territory planning, quota setting, and sales forecasting.
  • Initiate automation and productivity projects to enhance reporting practices.
  • Lead the planning and execution of account planning projects, establishing clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure that all account plans are aligned with the company's goals.
  • Work closely with account teams, sales leadership, and other cross-functional teams to develop and refine account plans.
  • Perform market research of competitors and industry to summarize key data and identify trends.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing market research findings with valuable insights for stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement tools and technologies to streamline sales operations.
  • Perform other ad-hoc analysis and duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least three years of progressive experience in sales operations, business analysis, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Adaptable to changing work environments and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to effectively engage employees and build relationships across the company.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
