About the position

The Sales Operations Analyst will support the North American Digital Sales team at SS&C, focusing on maximizing sales performance through analytics, reporting, and data management. This role involves collaboration with sales managers and directors to enhance productivity and efficiency within the sales organization, while also engaging with various stakeholders across the company.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute timely, accurate, and insightful reports and analysis related to sales performance.
• Develop and present sales forecasts.
• Assist sales teams in preparing data for team meetings and GTM/QBR meetings.
• Perform complex ad hoc analysis to support the Sales Organization.
• Analyze business needs and provide data-driven recommendations to support sales management and field sales representatives.
• Manage systems interfaces related to sales reporting, compensation, and territory management.
• Identify issues in sales and operations processes and recommend improvements to drive productivity and efficiency.
• Document processes and represent the business group in corporate sales and marketing discussions.
• Assist with key sales planning activities during the planning and budgeting cycle.
• Collaborate with Commission, Finance, IT, and Business Technology to build cross-functional relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 2-4 years of operations experience, preferably in a software company.
• Strong Microsoft Suite skills.
• Preferable experience with Tableau.
• Familiarity with sales processes and tools such as Salesforce.com.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to work independently and execute complex assignments with minimal guidance.
