About the position

The Sales Operations and Administration Analyst II at Daimler Truck North America will support the sales operations department by managing documentation related to sales offers, inventories, orders, and demo vehicle usage. This role involves ensuring accurate tracking and monitoring of vehicle specifications and orders, as well as providing timely support for various sales-related tasks. The position is hybrid, requiring both in-office and remote work, and involves collaboration with sales managers and other departments to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal sales operations by managing documentation related to vehicle specifications and orders.
  • Liaise with Sales Managers to ensure vehicle specifications meet customer requirements.
  • Track and monitor vehicle orders, build schedules, and inventories accurately.
  • Assist in preparing sales offers and maintain accountability of sales quotes in documentation systems.
  • Track and monitor production orders placed with the plant.
  • Coordinate queries and provide updates to the sales and management team.
  • Manage demo vehicle use, unit moves, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure timely execution of approvals for sales orders in systems like SAP.
  • Prepare offers and ensure timely confirmation/signature by customers.
  • Maintain required files and documentation for accountability.
  • Familiarize with CRM system (NOVIS) to support the team.
  • Prepare regular reports for production orders, quotes, and sales activity.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2 years of proven experience in a sales/customer service support role in a B2B environment, preferably in commercial vehicles or capital equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well with people.
  • Computer literacy across multiple platforms, including CRM software (MS Office, SAP, Novis).
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years of relevant experience in the automotive/commercial vehicle industry sales/customer service role.
  • Experience in a start-up environment.
  • German language skills.
