About the position

The Sales Operations and Communications Manager at Benco Dental plays a pivotal role in driving the company's sales incentive initiatives through effective communication strategies, data-driven decision-making, and onboarding management techniques. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing communication between sales operations and the sales force, ensuring that all sales procedures are consistent and that best practices are standardized across the field. The manager will focus on the development of sales incentives for Sales Leaders and Sales Representatives, as well as the structure and execution of regional meetings. Collaboration with various departments at Benco is essential to promote key initiatives and drive sales performance. In this role, the manager will lead the creative development process from concept to completion, ensuring proper tracking and support in regional reporting, promotions, and feedback. They will become an expert in communicating onboarding success and the importance of standard operating procedures for each department. The manager will also be responsible for planning, organizing, and optimizing regional events and sponsorships, working closely with the sales force, internal departments, and external partners to continually improve operations and sales outcomes. Additionally, the Sales Operations and Communications Manager will report, track, and communicate on various initiatives such as Benco Blu, Pinnacle Incentives, and the Chairman's Club. They will drive sales execution by communicating goals and progress, acting as the point person for Benco's yearly Pinnacle award and the Regional Ranking known as Benco Blu. The manager will oversee a team of District Sales Operations Coordinators and Regional Sales Operations Coordinators, providing leadership, management, direction, and mentoring to team members. This includes executing performance management processes such as goal setting, coaching, training, and professional development, as well as recruiting and hiring the right talent for the Benco team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Benco's sales incentive initiatives through communication strategies and data-based decision-making.
  • Manage coordination and execution of communication between sales operations and the sales force.
  • Develop sales incentives for Sales Leaders and Sales Representatives.
  • Ensure consistency in sales procedures and standardization of best practices in the field.
  • Plan, organize, and optimize regional events and sponsorships.
  • Report, track, and communicate on initiatives such as Benco Blu, Pinnacle Incentives, and Chairman's Club.
  • Drive sales execution by communicating goals and progress to the sales team.
  • Oversee a team of District Sales Operations Coordinators and Regional Sales Operations Coordinators.
  • Utilize Excel to create reports and provide information for management.
  • Attend and lead regional and district sales meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting required.
  • 4-6 years of sales and/or marketing experience with a focus on communications required.
  • Proficient level in Excel required.
