About the position

The Sales Operations Associate II plays a crucial role in supporting brokers and accounts by managing sales operations procedures. This hybrid position involves onboarding new accounts, assisting with enrollment processes, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of new and renewing accounts. The associate will work closely with Sales Executives, brokers, and various internal teams to facilitate smooth operations and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new accounts by collecting and reviewing business paperwork and completing collateral requests.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of new accounts for processing and onboarding.
  • Coordinate with Supervisor, Account Executives, Member Enrollment, and Group Configuration teams for successful renewals and new group onboarding.
  • Process timely and accurate renewal of existing accounts by collecting required information and entering data into internal systems.
  • Manage coordination of complex key account renewals.
  • Quality check and approve renewals processed by the Sales Operations Associate I.
  • Report back to management on group renewal status and workflow.
  • Provide in-person support for virtual and in-person enrollment meetings when needed.
  • Manage Employer and Broker Portals including new user set-up and resolution of related inquiries and issues.
  • Create opportunities in Dynamics for new small group business.
  • Manage completion and storage of New Business Agreements.
  • Manage collateral requests for new and existing business accounts.
  • Manage HRA/HSA file setup for new and existing business accounts.
  • Communicate and work efficiently as part of the Sales Team along with external sales contacts such as brokers and clients.
  • Provide operational/administrative support for sales team, clients, and external sales contacts.
  • Anticipate and meet, or exceed, internal and/or external customer expectations and requirements; establish and maintain effective relationships with customers.
  • Work under general supervision, utilizing established procedures and predetermined priorities.
  • Hold self and others accountable to meet commitments.
  • Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are integrated as a guiding principle.
  • Persist in accomplishing objectives to consistently achieve results despite obstacles and setbacks.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.
  • 4 years of related experience required.
  • 3 - 4 years of related experience preferred.
  • Local travel and reliable transportation required.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Understanding of health insurance market.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of health insurance sales and ability to work well with multiple stakeholders.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-centered environment.
