About the position

The Sales Operations Business Analyst at James Hardie plays a vital role in supporting the sales team by managing sales incentive programs, reporting key performance indicators (KPIs), and executing strategic initiatives. This position involves collaboration with various functional leaders and business units to enhance sales operations and drive efficiency within the sales department, ultimately supporting the organization's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process sales incentive programs accurately and timely.
  • Audit and create territory alignment, sales goals, and statements for review.
  • Ensure compliance with incentive program rules and facilitate discrepancy resolution.
  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to streamline sales incentive program workflows.
  • Design reports and dashboards containing key sales incentive metrics for senior management review.
  • Monitor reporting usage in Salesforce.com to ensure access to key data for sales reps and leaders.
  • Provide insights and analysis to support sales strategies and decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
  • Manage and evaluate sales support tools to maximize capabilities and drive efficiencies.
  • Partner with the training team to ensure proper training of the sales team on key tools and technology.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders and subject matter experts to ensure the success of key projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years of experience within Sales Operation or Effectiveness Organization.
  • 2+ years of experience managing or providing support for sales incentive plans.
  • Experience with Excel Power Query and Power Pivot.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
  • Experience with sales reporting and dashboards within Salesforce or other software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
