The Sales Operations & Commissions Analyst role at Bioventus is a pivotal position that focuses on the review, analysis, and communication of key sales results within the organization. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including the analysis of monthly sales results, key performance indicators (KPIs), funnel management, forecasting, and sales compensation. The analyst will be tasked with developing and communicating new sales reports that drive actionable insights for the sales organization, ensuring that the sales team has the necessary information to understand their performance and make informed decisions. In this role, the analyst will need to synthesize multiple pieces of information into clear insights that can be utilized by the sales team. A critical aspect of the position involves understanding the root causes of any missed KPIs and developing countermeasures to address these issues effectively. The analyst will also serve as a business consultant for systems and processes influenced by the Sales Operations team, including tools such as Power BI applications, CRM management, and funnel management systems. Annual territory planning is another key responsibility, which includes evaluating territories, making recommendations for changes to optimize customer engagement, tracking zip code alignment changes, and communicating new territory structures. The analyst will work closely with finance, business intelligence, marketing, and market access teams to address executive-level requests related to sales results and execution. Maintaining consistent and professional communication with both internal and external customers is essential, as is the presentation of monthly results in relation to business KPIs. Additionally, the role involves the development, implementation, and training of new tools and processes related to Commercial Operations, as well as assisting with other projects and duties as required. This position is based in Durham, NC, and is not remote, requiring a hybrid office presence of 2-3 days per week.
