About the position

The Sales Operations team at Amazon Freight is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Operations Coordinator to assist with cataloging and managing business-critical lane data. This role is characterized by high visibility and high impact, requiring collaboration across various functions including Sales, Operations, Pricing, and Billing Operations teams. The ideal candidate will possess a background in transportation and a history of working with cross-functional stakeholders, complemented by strong program management skills. In this position, the Sales Operations Coordinator will be responsible for pulling, processing, and analyzing data efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, as the role involves understanding how individual contributions fit into the broader business context to drive process improvements. Daily responsibilities include following existing Statements of Work (SOWs) to triage open requests across multiple queues, documenting current processes, building and leading training sessions for cross-functional partners, and identifying root causes of defects within existing systems and processes. The role demands solid communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment while also being capable of working independently under high-pressure conditions. Balancing speed and accuracy in managing various tasks and processes is paramount. The Sales Operations Coordinator will provide tactical written and verbal communication to internal stakeholders, create weekly reports, and work within time constraints to meet critical business needs. Additionally, the coordinator will lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes, systematically escalate problems, and ensure resolutions are delivered effectively. This position is integral to developing performance metrics that drive business results and scoping out business and functional requirements to streamline processes. The collaborative environment within the team supports cross-functional alignment and drives process changes to achieve agreed-upon goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with cataloging and managing business-critical lane data.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently under pressure.
  • Experience in program management and transportation.
