About the position

The Sales Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting sales managers by allowing them to concentrate on revenue growth and strategic account management. This position is designed to handle account maintenance and analytics, ensuring that sales managers can focus on their primary objectives. The coordinator will be responsible for supporting quarterly and yearly business meetings by providing comprehensive reporting and analytical data reviews, specifically tailored to products and promotions. Acting as a liaison between customers and sales account managers, the Sales Operations Coordinator will facilitate communication and ensure that customer needs are met effectively. In addition to these responsibilities, the coordinator will perform essential account maintenance activities, including SKU maintenance and setup, ensuring that these tasks are completed in a timely manner. The role also involves leading internal projects for key accounts, serving as the central coordinator for cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Externally, the coordinator will oversee the execution of projects in customer portals, ensuring that all aspects of the project are managed efficiently. The Sales Operations Coordinator will also conduct weekly and monthly retail price checks for top customers and items, both online and in stores, while keeping an eye on competition. Monitoring and enforcing iMap policies will be a critical part of the role, along with other duties as assigned. This position requires strong collaboration with internal teams, including sales managers, product managers, and the marketing team, while also engaging with a variety of customers externally.

Responsibilities

  • Support quarterly/yearly business meetings with reporting and analytical data review by products and promotions
  • Act as liaison between customer and sales account manager
  • Perform account maintenance activities such as SKU maintenance/set up in a timely fashion
  • Lead internal projects for key accounts; function as central coordinator for cross functional teams
  • Lead external execution of projects in customer portals
  • Perform weekly/monthly retail price checks (online and stores) for top customers and top items including competition
  • iMap monitoring and enforcement
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with emphasis in sales and/or marketing or equivalent experience
  • 6-12 months of related sales or marketing experience and/or training with big box retailers or ecommerce retailers in an analytical role
  • Strong project management skills to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Strong/Intermediate skill level of Microsoft Suite
  • Experience with data analysis and evaluation
  • Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a cross-functional work environment
