About the position

The Sales Operations Coordinator at Centene serves as the primary contact for assigned markets, focusing on all Sales Operations functions, including onboarding new agents and supporting sales teams. This role is essential in driving metric-driven sales goal attainment and ensuring effective communication between internal departments and external partners. The coordinator thrives in a fast-paced environment, providing quality support and problem resolution for field sales teams, while also managing reporting to influence sales outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for assigned market(s) for all Sales Operations functions.
  • Support onboarding of new agents and assist assigned market(s).
  • Ensure metric-driven sales goal attainment through effective support.
  • Facilitate communication between internal shared services, field leadership, and external partners to achieve enrollment goals.
  • Create and utilize reporting to influence sales goal attainment.
  • Support key National strategic field retail partnerships and manage relationships with external vendor partners.
  • Provide first-level support for sales systems access issues and maintain user request logs.
  • Liaise between field sales teams and escalation teams to resolve issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Track and report on local field marketing request submissions to ensure alignment with requests.
  • Coordinate with the training team regarding new hire sales associates and notify Sales Support of training completions.
  • Conduct outreach to sales partners regarding certifications, applications, and events.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or office-related area required.
  • 2+ years of experience in health insurance, policy and procedures technical writing, and/or agent certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with sales systems such as Ascend, Salesforce, and LiveVox.
  • Familiarity with vendor invoice and contract submissions through Coupa or related systems.
