About the position

The Sales Operations Coordinator at Cartamundi will provide exceptional customer service to both Domestic and International markets while assisting the Customer Service Department with various tasks related to Sales Operations and Accounts. This role is crucial in managing customer orders, addressing inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication between the company and its clients.

Responsibilities

  • Enter orders received via fax, telephone, email, and regular mail for Domestic and International markets.
  • Manage EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) orders requiring manual action.
  • Review backlog report and take proactive action to rectify customer order delays.
  • Enter and file all customer order requests received through various channels.
  • Communicate any delays to customers, if applicable.
  • Process International Customer requests for products and work with international forwarders as needed.
  • Supply all required international documents when applicable to the order.
  • Manage customer problems and/or complaints.
  • Support administrative requests from the Sales Team, including credit requests and customer master data updates.
  • Prepare and mail catalogs and samples as requested by customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service or sales support role.
  • Experience managing multi-faceted customer accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical ability to use an ERP system (e.g., SAP) for order management.
  • Effective use of Microsoft Office.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to guide customers through various product options.
