The Sales Operations Coordinator at Precision Plus plays a crucial role in providing exceptional support to US customers while adhering to the company's commercial best practices. This position is integral to furthering the organization's sales and service objectives, particularly within the General Vacuum Customer Center. The coordinator is responsible for managing specified customers both within the US and globally, aiming to enhance customer relations and drive increased revenue. In this role, the Sales Operations Coordinator will respond promptly to various inquiries via telephone, email, fax, and mail, ensuring that customer needs are met efficiently. A thorough understanding of Edwards products and services is essential, as the coordinator will enter, expedite, monitor, and track customer orders and opportunities received through multiple channels. This includes processing order amendments and preparing, tracking, and maintaining written quotations. The coordinator will also communicate activities to the responsible Account Teams and work closely with Credit Management to resolve any commercial issues, such as billing, pricing, and freight terms. Taking ownership of customer issues is vital, as the coordinator will interface with technical support, logistics, product managers, and field sales teams to generate timely solutions. Participation in the weekly On Call Program for 24/7 phone support is also part of the responsibilities. Additionally, the coordinator will prepare Open Order reports, manage shared Customer Care mailboxes, handle daily invoice processing, and complete Supplier Information Requests. The role requires quick assessment of customer needs, effective management of multiple tasks in a high workload environment, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. The Sales Operations Coordinator will also participate in assigned training programs and maintain punctual attendance, demonstrating a commitment to delivering results in a deadline-driven environment.
