About the position

The Sales Operations Coordinator serves as the primary contact for assigned markets, facilitating all Sales Operations functions including onboarding new agents and supporting sales teams. This role is crucial in achieving metric-driven sales goals and requires effective communication with internal departments and external partners. The coordinator is responsible for creating reports to influence sales outcomes and ensuring smooth operations between field sales and support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for assigned field sales markets/teams for all Sales Operations functions.
  • Support onboarding of new agents and assist with system access to sales and event support systems.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries from field sales teams via email and phone.
  • Provide first-level support for sales systems access issues and maintain a user request log.
  • Liaise between field sales teams and escalation teams to resolve issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Track and report on local field marketing request submissions to ensure alignment with requests.
  • Create reporting to monitor activities across all channels against sales goals.
  • Coordinate with the training team regarding new hire sales associates and notify Sales Support of training completions.
  • Provide problem resolution within targeted Service Level Agreements and aim for first call resolution.
  • Conduct outreach to sales partners regarding certifications, applications, and events.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or office-related area required.
  • 2+ years of experience in health insurance, policy and procedures technical writing, and/or agent certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, Ascend, and LiveVox systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
