About the position

As a Sales Operations - Corporate Trainer at Russell Cellular, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the training and development of our sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate all new hire and promotional training, ensuring that all training materials are housed within our virtual learning platform. You will be tasked with assigning daily tasks to team members and following up to ensure completion and understanding. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with learning and training teams, as well as subject matter experts, to develop effective learning solutions that meet the needs of our diverse workforce. In addition to hosting and facilitating training sessions and webinars, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of Russell Cellular and Verizon products and services. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of training paths within our Learning Management System (LMS) and creating new training initiatives to enhance the learning experience. You will also provide feedback on training programs and assist in updating and refreshing the training curriculum to ensure it remains relevant and effective. Your role will require you to maintain a dashboard of project statuses, completion goals, and backlog items, as well as proof learning documents and resources. You will help users troubleshoot issues with the webinar platform and drive engagement across the company to ensure effective measurement of training outcomes. A flexible, adaptive, and responsive approach to the needs of learners is essential, as is a commitment to continual learning to strengthen your own knowledge and skills. Monthly store visits will also be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to evaluate training modules and checklists in real-world settings.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all new hire and promotional training housed within the virtual platform.
  • Assign daily tasks and follow up with team members to ensure completion.

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Russell Cellular and Verizon products and services.
  • Host and facilitate assigned trainings and webinars.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training paths in the LMS.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Training, and L&D teams to create new training initiatives.
  • Provide feedback on projects/training initiatives for training programs.
  • Update and refresh the training curriculum for ongoing training.
  • Maintain a dashboard of all project statuses, completion goals, and backlog items.
  • Proof learning documents and resources, including reports.
  • Help users troubleshoot issues with the webinars platform.
  • Drive engagement in the systems and ensure measurement across the area/company.
  • Engage in continual learning to strengthen personal knowledge.
  • Schedule and participate in monthly store visits to evaluate modules/checklists.

Requirements

  • Sales curriculum development experience.
  • Mid-level experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong training and development skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in wireless sales in a retail environment.
  • Ability to design, develop, and deliver new hire training curriculum and other courses.
  • Experience in a fast-paced learning and development or training role.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail, including correct grammar and punctuation.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
