About the position

As a Sales Operations - Corporate Trainer at Russell Cellular, you will play a pivotal role in the onboarding and continuous training of new hires and existing employees. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate all new hire and promotional training sessions, which will be conducted through our virtual platform. You will be tasked with assigning daily tasks to team members and following up to ensure their completion. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with learning and training teams, as well as subject matter experts, to develop effective learning solutions that meet the needs of our employees. In addition to hosting and facilitating training sessions, you will assist in the development and implementation of training paths within our Learning Management System (LMS). Your role will also involve creating new training initiatives and supporting their implementation, ensuring that all training materials are up-to-date and relevant. You will maintain a dashboard to track project statuses, completion goals, and backlog items, providing feedback on training programs and initiatives to enhance their effectiveness. Your ability to engage with multiple personalities and encourage collaboration will be essential in driving engagement and ensuring that all team members are actively participating in their learning journey. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise with the webinar platform, ensuring a smooth training experience for all participants. Continuous learning and personal development will be encouraged, as you will engage in ongoing training to strengthen your own knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Russell Cellular and Verizon products and services.
  • Host and facilitate all assigned trainings and webinars.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training paths in our LMS.
  • Collaborate with and assist the Sales Operations, Training, and L&D teams.
  • Assist in creating new training initiatives and support their implementation.
  • Work with multiple personalities at one time and encourage engagement, collaboration.
  • Provide feedback on projects/training initiatives for training programs.
  • Assist with updating and refreshing the training curriculum for ongoing training.
  • Maintain a dashboard of all project statuses, completion goals, backlog items.
  • Proof learning documents and resources, including reports.
  • Help users troubleshoot issues with the webinars platform.
  • Drive engagement in the systems and ensure measurement across your area/company.
  • Demonstrate a flexible, adaptive, and responsive approach to the needs of the learner.
  • Engage in continual learning to strengthen personal knowledge.
  • Schedule and participate in monthly store visits.
  • Evaluate modules/checklists.

Requirements

  • Ability to recognize when adjustments might need to be made due to confusion related to the training path.

  • Correct grammar, punctuation, and attention to detail are a must.
  • Wireless sales experience in a retail environment.
  • Experience in fast-paced learning and development or training role where you are tasked with using data to drive decisions to create and implement learning strategies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of curriculum and learning development.
  • Ability to design, develop, and deliver new hire training curriculum and other courses.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with high-level presentation skills.
