You will engage in consultative relationships with various lines of business, performing needs assessments through discussions with management and employees across multiple channels, including surveys, interviews, and group sessions. Your goal will be to measure, analyze, and evaluate performance to determine effective performance solutions that align with key business metrics and procedures. You will apply adult learning methodologies, utilizing different experiential learning methods to cater to various learning styles and aptitudes. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum and performance improvement initiatives using models such as ADDIE and AGES. You will also be responsible for planning and implementing training assignments, developing action plans, obtaining necessary resources, and ensuring timely completion of assignments to achieve workplace learning and performance goals. Facilitating instructor-led and virtual training sessions will be a key part of your role, covering areas such as leadership and management training, new hire training, refresher training, and skill-building sessions. You will provide progress reports to management on training solutions and outcomes, utilizing Level 1 (Reaction), Level 2 (Learning), and Level 3 (Behaviors in Business Results) evaluations as applicable. Additionally, you will analyze and select the most appropriate instructional design strategies to maximize the learning experience, which may include various learning solutions such as instructor-led training (ILT), virtual-led training (VLT), self-paced modules, and coaching activities. Your administrative duties will involve coordinating training schedules, maintaining LMS training records, and managing classroom logistics.

  • Apply adult learning methodologies and adjust delivery styles to achieve optimal results in training.
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Plan and implement training assignments, ensuring timely completion of action plans and resource acquisition.
  • Facilitate instructor-led and virtual training sessions covering various training topics.
  • Provide management with reports on training solutions and outcomes using evaluation levels.
  • Analyze and select appropriate instructional design strategies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Coordinate training schedules, registrations, and maintain LMS training records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in originations (Loan Officer) or Learning and Development.
  • Experience in the financial services or mortgage industry is preferred.
  • Ability to facilitate learning in both formal classroom and virtual environments.
  • Experience using the ADDIE Model or other formal Instructional Design Models is strongly preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Consultant or Coach is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail in designing and producing coursework materials.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Basic understanding of eLearning tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with company-related systems in the financial services or mortgage industry.
  • Familiarity with various training tools and technologies.
