About the position

The Sales Operations Manager for Energy & Sustainability at Prologis will play a crucial role in supporting and optimizing the solar and storage sales process. This position is part of the Global Energy Business Operations team and is focused on achieving the company's commitment to 1 GW of solar and storage by the end of 2025. The role involves leading day-to-day sales enablement, enhancing sales processes, and ensuring effective collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize the design of the sales process in coordination with Sales Team leadership.
  • Develop and train the sales team on tools, technologies, and resources to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Provide complex analytical support for sales strategy and reporting, ensuring data integrity and document management.
  • Conduct strategic market analytics, including TAM/SAM/SOM assessments for market entry and penetration.
  • Set regional and individual sales targets, forecast growth, and track team performance and KPIs.
  • Manage sales compensation plans and incentives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Development, and IT to resolve sales process issues.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the energy field and/or solar industry, including back-office sales functions and business operations.
  • Expertise in Salesforce CRM and sales KPI forecasting and tracking.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent presentation abilities.
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with process management and improvement methodologies (Kaizen/Lean/Six Sigma).
  • Demonstrated experience working with business leaders to streamline processes and resolve barriers.
