About the position

Row House in Belmont is seeking a passionate and driven Sales & Operations Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in fostering membership growth and ensuring that every member has an extraordinary experience at our rowing-based fitness studio. Our mission is to provide an efficient, high-cardio, full-body workout that caters to individuals of all fitness levels, while creating a supportive community that encourages strength and endurance. As the Sales & Operations Manager, you will be responsible for generating new memberships by engaging with potential clients and educating them about our offerings. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining a positive atmosphere for our current members, ensuring they feel valued and excited to be part of our studio. In this position, you will lead efforts to generate leads through various channels, including social media, community events, and referrals from existing members. Your ability to connect with prospects and provide them with personalized education about our services will be key to your success. You will manage a small team of Fitness Advisors, overseeing their training and development to ensure they are equipped to support our members effectively. Additionally, you will handle the operational aspects of the studio, including maintaining cleanliness, creating marketing materials, and managing staff schedules. This role may be offered as either full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's availability and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads through social media, Google, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Educate prospects about membership options and fitness goals through high-touch communication.
  • Manage and develop a team of Fitness Advisors to ensure studio success.
  • Maintain studio operations, including cleanliness, marketing asset creation, and supply ordering.
  • Create staff schedules and provide training and development for team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on customer sales and support experience.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Experience in developing client relationships and diffusing difficult situations.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer technology, including Google Docs, social media, and Canva.
