About the position

The Sales Operations Manager at Van Drunen Farms is a key member of the Sales Leadership Team, responsible for optimizing sales processes to enhance efficiency and drive revenue growth. This role emphasizes demand planning, accurate sales forecasting, and resource allocation to meet business objectives. The manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to support strategic decision-making, ensuring the sales team operates effectively and achieves sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Demand Planning function of the S&OP process.
  • Manage the Demand Planning Manager and the functions of Demand Planning continuous improvement across the Sales Team.
  • Support for departmental KPI development and tracking.
  • Support for Account Segmentation and Account Exec Alignment.
  • Data gathering and analysis on item level market pricing and customer feedback for internal engagement and strategy creation.
  • Empower and equip Sales Operations team members to be effective ambassadors of our customers and the sales team.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service and incorporate lead measures for the Sales Operations team that drive high levels of customer service.
  • Own and execute development plans for each member of the Sales Operations team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in a related role with proven leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leading people and teams with experience in designing teams for optimum results.
  • Prior accountability for planning, budgeting, and developing/executing business strategy.
  • Knowledge of food, beverage, and/or dietary supplements ingredients and markets.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Adept at relationship-building and fostering.
  • Experience in solving complex problems and delivering results that meet or exceed goals.
  • Strong service orientation.
  • Opportunistic entrepreneur with honed critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Highly collaborative approach to facilitating internal and external projects and processes.
  • Prior experience with ERP systems and CRMs.
  • Lifelong learner with a history of continually developing or improving both technical and leadership skills.
