About the position

The Sales Operations Manager for North America Startups at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for driving the growth of the Startups segment by optimizing operational frameworks, tools, and processes. This role involves collaborating with sales and business development teams to convert startup prospects into active AWS customers, establishing standardized processes, and providing data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency. The position serves as a strategic partner to sales leadership, translating growth objectives into actionable plans and removing roadblocks to empower the sales force.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize operational frameworks, tools, and playbooks for startup engagement.
  • Establish standardized processes and metrics for customer acquisition and retention.
  • Provide data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales & Business Development teams to achieve growth goals.
  • Translate NAMER Startups growth objectives into operational plans and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Drive execution of key customer acquisition and spend goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience.
  • Experience conducting sophisticated analysis of complex data and translating results into actionable deliverables.
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools for CRM, revenue reporting, and forecasting.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership.
