This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including monthly business reviews, goal setting, sales and support scorecards, territory planning and administration, CRM systems management, Tableau adoption, and ad hoc analytics that support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, creative, and intellectually curious about data sets and business processes. They will possess the ability to make sense of complex and disparate data, be operationally savvy, and have a passion for finding efficient solutions to improve commercial workflow. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential to create confidence in analyses and proposed courses of action. The Sales Operations Manager will develop and distribute commercial analytics reports and dashboards in Salesforce and Tableau, providing actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for the commercial and executive leadership teams. They will monitor data integrity in Salesforce and Tableau, lead territory planning, assist with Salesforce quota modeling, and respond to ad hoc requests for insights. The role requires close collaboration with senior leadership to solicit feedback and present recommendations around performance metrics, goals, and scorecards. The successful candidate will also engage with the commercial team to identify process bottlenecks and provide recommendations to improve performance, while establishing best practices for data governance to enhance data quality and transparency.
