About the position

The Sales Operations Manager at Aerotech, Inc. is a pivotal role focused on enhancing sales effectiveness and driving revenue growth. This position involves overseeing the sales operations function, streamlining processes, and providing data-driven insights to support the sales team. The manager will be responsible for managing CRM systems, analyzing sales data, refining sales processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage CRM systems and other tools, ensuring data integrity and providing training for the sales team and other relevant teams as needed.
  • Identify and drive automation and process improvements to enhance overall sales productivity.
  • Generate and analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Oversee requests from the sales team regarding modifications or updates to operations, evaluating each request for validity and alignment with overall goals.
  • Refine and periodically update sales processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Refine and oversee the onboarding sales training program for new employees.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, IT, technical support, business development, and product management, to align sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation and management of the annual sales budget.
  • Support the sales team with forecasting, territory management, and pipeline development.
  • Create and deliver reports and dashboards for leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Supervise the team of Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), ensuring a thorough understanding of the processes they are responsible for executing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Business Administration degree from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 5 years of related experience and/or training, preferred.
  • Experience with CRM administration, preferably Hubspot.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend high-level sales strategies and convert them into system and process requirements.
  • Experience with a formal sales process.
  • Experience in a sales enablement or training role.
  • Strong presentation and content-development skills.
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office and Google Products.
