About the position

The Sales Operations Manager at Kinovate Life Sciences is a pivotal role responsible for enhancing sales processes, project management, and trade show operations. This position requires a seasoned manager with strong organizational skills and the ability to inspire performance in others, working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the execution of key components of planning, sales quota setting, revenue planning, headcount planning, goals planning, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and implement sales processes and mechanisms for sales teams, support teams, partner teams, and the broader organization.
  • Manage sales pipelines, seller onboarding processes, and billing operations.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations and leadership to identify business goals and key results needed to deliver on those goals.
  • Create and manage automation tools to increase sales process efficiency, including implementing new tooling and managing CRM integrations in Salesforce.
  • Connect process, technology, and people to create streamlined operations for the team.
  • Familiarize with key operational competencies like change management, continuous improvement, and risk management.
  • Work cross-functionally to achieve an efficient and effective Quote to Cash process.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
  • Set sales objectives and monitor the process to ensure that company quotas are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration.
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of sales operations experience.
  • Experience in and understanding of the Life Sciences market.
  • Experience leading/managing vendors in the Life Science industry.
  • Experience in the sales operation function is highly desirable.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, dynamic, small-company environment and effectively collaborate cross-functionally with both internal and external customers.
  • Demonstration of a high level of character and ethics to support company values.

Nice-to-haves

  • Foreign language skills, particularly Chinese, are highly desirable.
