About the position

In this role, you will work closely with leadership to oversee a smooth and effective sales process that drives growth, focusing on three key areas: Sales Team Engagement, Productivity, and Sales Administration. You will collaborate with growth leaders and customer relationship executives to support strategic business development efforts, establish and manage forums for exchanging ideas, and radiate best practices throughout the organization. Additionally, you will work with leadership on recruiting, onboarding, and performance management of the sales team, and plan review sessions for senior leadership and the growth organization to discuss key pursuits and programs. Your responsibilities will also include proactively identifying bottlenecks in the sales processes, streamlining and optimizing these processes, and implementing sales automation tools. You will utilize data to perform root cause analysis and inform actionable insights, as well as identify opportunities for intelligent automation and tech-enablement of key steps in the sales process. In terms of sales administration, you will support sales strategic planning, budgeting, and administration processes, assist customer relationship executives in strategic account planning, and oversee the annual budgeting and quarterly/annual commission processes.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Six (6)+ years of relevant experience, including sales, training, and/or project management.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Ability to define and manage initiatives and communicate progress to build stakeholder buy-in.

Nice-to-haves

  • In-depth knowledge of the sales process for advisory, digital and managed services to commercial and public sector clients.
