The Sales Operations Manager (SOM) at Brown-Forman Italy is a pivotal role responsible for enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of the sales organization. Key responsibilities include planning, controlling, reporting, target setting, and optimizing sales processes. The SOM will also be responsible for implementing and administering sales programs, ensuring that strong relationships are built across all sales functions and the broader organization. This leadership role is integral to the Sales Leadership Team, where the SOM will contribute to the organizational culture, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and the overall customer engagement strategy. The SOM will provide valuable insights and leadership in sales strategy development and special projects, acting as a trusted advisor to other leaders. This includes preparing sales data and reports related to forecasts, plans, and budget processes, while also ensuring high levels of quality and accuracy in the sales organization's planning efforts. The role involves coordinating promotional activities, managing product allocations, and leading a diverse and inclusive culture within the Sales Operations team. The SOM will also be responsible for identifying organizational capability gaps and addressing them through appropriate learning and development programs, ensuring effective training and development of staff.
