About the position

We are currently seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our Revenue Operations team at Torq. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with various team members across the Go-To-Market teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Channel, to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our go-to-market engine. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving predictable and scalable growth for the company. This position is fully remote and is open to candidates based in the United States. As a Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving improvements in sales processes and systems, which will ultimately lead to a better experience for both our sellers and customers. You will manage the day-to-day sales operations processes, which include deal desk management, supplier registration, and order processing. Additionally, you will assist in sales planning, focusing on sales coverage and territory management. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you analyze sales data and metrics, drawing insights that will help sales leaders enhance performance and productivity across their teams. Your responsibilities will also include day-to-day Salesforce administration, which encompasses quoting enhancements, approval processes, price book/SKU management, and territory management. You will serve as the primary point of contact for deal desk inquiries, supplier questionnaires, and order processing. Furthermore, you will lead efforts to deploy new technology and modules related to territory management, Configure Price Quote (CPQ), and forecasting. Monitoring key sales metrics and forecasting will be part of your role, as well as assisting with quarterly path to plans.

Responsibilities

  • Drive improvement in sales processes and systems, enabling a better experience for our sellers and customers

  • Assist in sales planning including sales coverage and territory management

  • Oversee day to day Salesforce administration including quoting enhancements, approval processes, price book/SKU management, and territory management
  • Act as the primary point of contact for deal desk, supplier questionnaires, and order processing
  • Lead efforts to deploy new technology/modules related to territory management, CPQ, forecasting
  • Monitor key sales metrics, forecasting, and assist with quarterly path to plans

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with tools like Salesforce including CPQ, Forecasting, and Deal Registration modules
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
  • Natural curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly
  • Salesforce Certification preferred
