About the position

The Sales Operations Manager at Autodesk will play a crucial role in enhancing operational excellence and efficiency within the Autodesk Tandem Operations team. This position focuses on driving strategic initiatives that support the sales team, ultimately reducing the time spent on non-selling activities and improving productivity through optimized tools and processes. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires a strong analytical background to guide the strategic direction of sales operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations for teams based in AMER, EMEA, and APAC, serving as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and engagement requests.
  • Analyze, streamline, and standardize sales operations processes to drive consistency and scalability through optimization of sales tools and technology.
  • Drive the health and operational efficiency of the sales pipeline, identifying and addressing operational roadblocks that impact deal progression.
  • Optimize workflows to maximize sales productivity and revenue while decreasing time in stage and supporting order processing.
  • Assist sales leadership in the development and management of accurate sales forecasts and planning, collaborating with Finance for accurate revenue recognition and commission tracking.
  • Partner with the business analytics team to develop, maintain, and deliver comprehensive reporting and dashboards to track key performance metrics.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a Business, Technology Management, Marketing, or similar discipline.
  • 5+ years' sales operations experience with ABM in a technology sales environment.
  • Proficient super user or advanced business user in Salesforce and sales execution tools.
  • Advanced analytical skills, data-driven with experience in sales data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering partnerships internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives to drive efficiency and alignment across teams.
  • Exceptionally organized, execution-focused, accountable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and driven.
  • Experience with team collaboration technologies such as Airtable, Seismic, Confluence, and Office 365.
  • Prior experience on a geographically distributed team.
