About the position

The Sales Operations Manager at Water Oak Country Club Estates is responsible for overseeing all sales operational activities that support the sales teams. This role includes managing advertising, coordinating home orders, ensuring timely construction cycles, and maintaining the sales office and model homes. The manager will also produce reports, handle customer inquiries, and collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Produces monthly reports on sales, traffic, and sales campaigns, communicating results to the Community/Resort Manager and Regional Vice President.
  • Orders and tracks all inventory.
  • Coordinates team member selection and development, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Handles and resolves resident/customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversees advertising and marketing for homes for sale, including organizing open houses.
  • Coordinates warranty service after the sale with the House Construction Manager.
  • Meets regularly with the House Construction Manager to ensure home construction schedules are maintained and budgets are adhered to.
  • Supervises calls and traffic to the sales office, handling escalated issues as necessary.
  • Performs general administrative functions such as answering phones and maintaining records.
  • Coordinates with the Underwriting department for approvals on prospective resident applicants.
  • Oversees coordination of closing packages and closings.
  • Facilitates payment of sales commissions and ensures audits are closed.
  • Partners with the Marketing team to maintain the resort website and social media pages.
  • Completes new move-in incentive requests for non-Sun Homes deals.
  • Collaborates with the Community/Resort Manager on site selection for Sun Homes models.
  • Reviews and authorizes invoices for payment related to Sun Homes sales.
  • Organizes model and inventory presentation with the maintenance team.
  • Directs homeowner walkthroughs process with the House Construction Manager.
  • Enhances company reputation by exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Assists manager with the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • 2 years experience in real estate sales, preferably in the manufactured housing industry.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
