About the position

The Operations Manager for E-Commerce Sales is responsible for overseeing the operational execution of the sales strategy for Samsung.com, ensuring that various departments align with the company's goals for increased sales and enhanced customer experience. This role involves managing teams, analyzing performance metrics, and leveraging data to identify opportunities for improvement in traffic, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of various departments concerning pricing, sales, production, and distribution of products.
• Manage employees, create work schedules, and distribute duties.
• Determine employment requirements and conduct interviews to hire prospective employees.
• Train newly hired employees.
• Manage all activities associated with the production of the company's products.
• Oversee employee performance, sales promotions, and coordinate with division leads.
• Plan the layout and design of the store, set prices and credit terms, and identify goods and services to be sold.
• Supervise remodeling of current amenities and represent the company during client meetings and negotiations.
• Handle problems calmly and effectively, even under pressure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in operations management or related field.
• Experience with payroll processing and wage attachment.
• 5+ years of directly related experience in sales or service network operations.
• Experience leading a sales function in E-commerce, Retail, or Consumer Electronics.
• Project and program management expertise.
• Team/People management experience, including day-to-day coaching.
