About the position

The Sales Operations Manager at Kitchen Brains is responsible for leading the Sales Operations Group (SOG) to enhance team performance, drive operational efficiency, and foster a collaborative culture. This role involves analyzing sales data, aligning sales strategies with business objectives, and ensuring the team adapts to industry changes while optimizing processes. The manager will also provide guidance and resources to support sales representatives and promote a culture of accountability and growth within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Sales Operations Group (SOG) team, providing tools, resources, and guidance to support sales representatives.
  • Align sales strategies with business objectives and develop plans to enhance sales performance.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales, and make recommendations for improving team operations.
  • Oversee and maintain documentation on sales processes, business processes, and policies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support sales goals and facilitate seamless operations.
  • Manage and support sales solutions and business systems that enhance sales operations and customer engagement.
  • Promote financially driven decision-making within the team.
  • Set a professional example for the team by engaging with customers and leading initiatives that elevate departmental standards.
  • Commit to the continuous training and development of team members.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in HubSpot or a relevant CRM, including report building and basic system administration capabilities.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data and create presentations.
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook and Teams for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Background in electronic component and hardware sales, with a solid understanding of sales processes specific to this sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and/or sales management, demonstrating a proven track record of success.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on coaching and developing team members.
  • Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions to drive sales performance.
