About the position

2020 Companies is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to take ownership of strategic clients and lead a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the weekly processes of invoicing and payroll, performing complex activities such as audits and data analysis, and financial reconciliation reporting within the Sales Operations department. The Sales Operations Manager will manage a team of operations coordinators and auditors responsible for processing, inspecting, and validating field representative activities, including time, mileage, route, sales, and compliance in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess expert-level Excel skills to handle complex commission calculations, data reconciliation, and the creation of Excel workbooks for auditing purposes. Heavy use of Salesforce is expected, and experience as a Salesforce admin is a plus. The Sales Operations Manager will work closely with field leaders and will be involved in service and sales to help design new business processes. A relevant background in sales and operations within professional services, retail, or distributed sales forces is essential, along with a process and metrics-oriented mindset to drive performance through effective leadership and management. Responsibilities

  • Manage team(s) and oversee day-to-day operations including client initiatives, billing, payroll preparation, reporting, and client issue resolution.
  • Reconcile and audit client-specific billing and invoicing, including billed hours and expenses.
  • Prepare, validate, and audit client-specific payroll.
  • Generate and analyze system management reports, including payroll interface reports with the payroll system.
  • Support the billing and invoicing process.
  • Set up systems for new clients and providers.
  • Collaborate with the client account team to develop account plans and strategies.
  • Assist with client service issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Work with managers to develop and maintain infrastructure for new and existing accounts.
  • Provide insight and analysis regarding program performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between client management, the operations team, and finance to assist in problem resolution and analysis.
  • Ensure accurate updates of information as requested by the sales team in applicable reporting systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service by facilitating training and feedback to internal customers.
  • Compose verbal and/or written correspondence to internal and external customers.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance or 5 years of relevant experience in 3PL, Billing Controls, Finance, or Retail Operations.
  • Strong financial acumen.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Project management experience and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Superior interpersonal skills to work closely with team members and clients.
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent judgment and issue-resolution skills, with the ability to balance multiple demands and changing priorities.
  • Advanced/expert working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

  • Salesforce admin experience is a plus.
