About the position

The Sales Operations Manager (SOM) at Advatix, Inc. is responsible for enhancing team productivity and managing the sales process from end to end. This role involves tracking conversion rates throughout the sales funnel and identifying growth opportunities through collaboration. The SOM will report to the VP of Sales and is expected to exemplify company values while nurturing the company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Review sales reports, understand findings, and present/discuss results with the firm's CMO.
  • Conduct weekly performance meetings with sales team members.
  • Recognize, create, and implement process improvements within the sales organization to optimize employee workflows.
  • Work closely with sales teams to identify obstacles to sales velocity and develop solutions.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining sales standard operating procedures.
  • Interview, onboard, and train new sales team members.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Manage the sales team to reach sales targets.
  • Maintain effective sales incentive processes including commission payments and related activities.
  • Ensure accurate and timely sales commission calculations are submitted to finance/payroll.
  • Provide CRM activity reports as defined by the sales teams' operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Analytics or Operations Manager or in a comparable sales leadership role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing excellent customer service.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept in Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Analytics tools.
