About the position

The Sales Operations Manager at Renegade Well Services is responsible for enhancing the efficiency of the sales team by simplifying sales processes and implementing new technologies. This role involves collaborating with the Chief Commercial Officer and regional sales leadership to align sales strategies with company goals, improve sales performance through data analysis, and manage the sales pipeline effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought partner for the Chief Commercial Officer to align sales strategies and practices with company goals.
  • Use sales experience and data analysis to proactively diagnose areas for improvement and create corrective action plans with the CCO and Regional Sales Directors.
  • Support day-to-day operational management of the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up to increase win rates.
  • Develop a Regional Sales Director dashboard to enhance visibility into customer health, salesperson performance, and product sales growth.
  • Streamline and optimize the sales process by creating KPIs and reports to manage progress and report non-conformance to Regional Leadership monthly.
  • Own and project manage technology enhancements aimed at improving internal efficiency and sales rep productivity, including HubSpot and Business Central.
  • Manage the quality of CRM data, ensuring it is up to date and consistent, and set up automations as needed.
  • Develop sales forecasting methods and reports with regional sales leadership to track monthly sales progress against last year results and budget.
  • Lead training and onboarding efforts for outside and inside sales related to sales processes and technology.
  • Monitor quote activity and compliance with the quote approval matrix.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Sales, Financial Analytics, or Statistics.
  • Demonstrated project management, pipeline management, and analytical skills.
  • Leadership qualities to coach, build, and motivate teams for customer excellence and retention.
  • Experience working in ERP/Financial systems, with knowledge of Microsoft Business Central being a plus.
  • Financial acumen with experience in creating, tracking, and managing a team to Sales KPIs.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High proficiency in working with a CRM, preferably HubSpot.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized, self-directed, and a team player.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in digital marketing efforts to support lead generation.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in different formats.
