The Sales & Operations Planning Analyst at Siemens focuses on the residential segment, emphasizing teamwork and analytical skills within logistics and supply chain management. The analyst will be responsible for forecasting, inventory management, and coordinating supply forecasts to enhance delivery performance and support product lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and developing stocking strategies for residential businesses.
• Conducting the sales and operations planning process.
• Coordinating new projects to improve delivery performance.
• Contributing to product lifecycle management by developing logistics plans for product introduction and obsolescence.
• Developing demand and supply forecasts for internal manufacturing plants and external vendors.
• Leading monthly supply forecast meetings with plants/vendors to deliver forecasts and address questions.
• Managing the inventory planning process to make stocking decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in materials/logistics/planning, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
• Thorough understanding of manufacturing supply chains and supply chain strategy from raw material to delivery of finished goods.
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

• Action and results-oriented with the ability to quickly develop plans and execute them.
• Experience with demand planning systems and complex data analytics using Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, SAP, and Tableau.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Comfortable presenting to senior management.
• APICS certification.
