The Sales Operations Project Manager for the Water Heating Division at Rheem Manufacturing will play a pivotal role in leading various programs' overall strategy and direction. This position is designed for a professional who can collaborate effectively with field sales teams to assess their needs and develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and communications plan that aligns with the overall objectives of the programs. The manager will support the Water Heater Division by providing strategic thought and direction, ensuring that the Demand Generation team receives relevant and timely training. This role is crucial in fostering strategic account executive-level business relationships, focusing on delivering profitable results for both plumbers and Rheem. The position is based in Roswell, GA, and is integral to the success of the Water Heater Division. In this role, the Sales Operations Project Manager will be responsible for developing the overall strategy and direction of the Sales Operation, acting as the primary point of contact for Rheem's project partners. The manager will lead the planning, execution, and implementation of sales operations projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that all projects adhere to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards. A key aspect of this position involves analyzing existing sales processes to identify inefficiencies and developing solutions to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and enhance overall sales performance. Utilizing sales data and analytics will be essential for identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. The manager will provide insights that support decision-making and strategic planning. Close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Demand Planning, and Product Management teams will be necessary to gather requirements, align priorities, and ensure that sales operations initiatives are seamlessly integrated with other business functions. Additionally, the manager will coordinate with other Rheem Business Units, such as Commercial Water, Parts Division, and Air Division, to ensure alignment on product launches and other critical business needs. Effective communication of project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels will be crucial, as will the ability to proactively address concerns and ensure alignment with business goals. The manager will monitor key performance metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and driving initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of sales operations. Maintaining data quality and consistency in sales and marketing systems is also a critical responsibility, along with collaborating with cross-functional teams to capture business outcomes and recommend new sales and customer-related processes. Conducting regular sales analyses for various regions, territories, markets, customers, and category segments will be part of the role, ensuring high levels of data quality and process consistency in sales and marketing systems. The manager will also be responsible for identifying customers and sales opportunities by analyzing sales data and consumer trends, as well as creating and managing automation tools to increase sales process efficiency.
