About the position

The Sales Operations Representative - Transaction Manager role at S&P Global is designed to enhance the sales fulfillment processes within a collaborative team environment. This position focuses on managing customer relationships, ensuring efficient service delivery, and supporting the sales pipeline through various operational tasks. The representative will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with audit and regulatory requirements while deepening their understanding of the financial services sector and the company's product offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the sales implementation processes, including order execution and accurate billing.
  • Progress S&P Global Ratings transactions from billing through invoicing, adjusting invoices as needed.
  • Track customer developments and trends to help craft future offerings.
  • Collaborate with Business Developers, Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, and other Transaction Managers to effectively manage the sales pipeline and handle transactional customer queries.
  • Act as a bridge between Sales and other internal functions as required.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations and company policies to support internal and external clients.
  • Comprehend pricing strategies and approval guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in product management, client support, operations, A/R or A/P, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using client support software, issue tracking tools, and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take direction from senior team members.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of the credit ratings business and debt capital markets is a decisive asset.
