This position is centered around leading the development and execution of sales operations, enhancing salesforce effectiveness, and leveraging data analytics to support the commercial leaders in their sales strategy development. The specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include sales reporting and analytics, implementing sales force effectiveness initiatives such as incentive planning, sales territory routing, and account prioritization, as well as developing new promotions and sales programs. Additionally, the role involves strategic KPI tracking, automating and auditing customer invoices, and ensuring efficient sales order tracking. In this position, the Sales Operations Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, marketing, finance, and customer experience teams, to understand their strategic goals and develop solutions that align with business priorities in North America and selected regions in APAC. The individual will be expected to exercise independent discretion and judgment, solving complex problems and adapting work processes and workflows as necessary to enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include developing, measuring, and reporting on sales effectiveness performance using KPI indicators across various strategic initiatives. The specialist will also be involved in the development and administration of sales compensation programs, analyzing and communicating sales trends and insights to commercial leaders, and reporting sales results and KPIs to the Pediatric Eye leadership team and relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, the role requires partnering with IT to implement new capabilities and solutions that improve access to sales data and reporting, influencing strategy, and developing sales execution tactics based on analytics and insights. The specialist will also work closely with supply chain partners to optimize shipping and invoicing processes, ensuring an optimal customer experience, and managing Salesforce.com (SFDC) effectively.
