About the position

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Operations Specialist for an opportunity in River Falls, WI. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to the sales operations team by managing and analyzing data to support sales initiatives. The Sales Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in retrieving and transforming large amounts of data, creating reports, and distributing necessary documents to a large group of sales team members. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional resources to meet business needs effectively. The job scope includes responsibilities related to budget, revenue, and sales volume. The Sales Operations Specialist will spend approximately 60% of their time on reporting and analytics, which involves extracting data from existing systems, transforming it into provided templates, and ensuring accuracy through attention to detail. The role also requires the ability to focus on repetitive tasks that are critical to the success of the sales team. Another 20% of the job will be dedicated to process management and execution, where the specialist will drive the execution of processes related to key sales initiatives. This includes extracting data for weekly reporting, combining data for additional reporting needs, and customizing data through mail merges or similar processes. The remaining 20% of the role will involve administrative and ad-hoc support, assisting marketing operations, sales operations, and IT team members in completing various tasks to support the execution of marketing programs. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas such as pivot tables. Attention to detail and the ability to work with large data sets are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities

  • Extracting data from existing systems and transforming it into templates provided.
  • Validating own work with attention to detail.
  • Focusing on repetitive tasks that are not complex but highly important.
  • Driving execution of processes related to key sales initiatives and tasks.
  • Extracting data to feed reporting on a weekly basis.
  • Combining all data and placing it in the appropriate location for additional reporting.
  • Completing mail merges or similar processes to customize data in resulting templates.
  • Creating files of results for the appropriate recipient and distributing them to the appropriate team member.
  • Supporting marketing operations, sales operations, and IT team members in administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency with Excel, including complex formulas such as pivot tables.
  • Ability to work with and extract from large sets of data in Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
