About the position

The Sales Operations Specialist at Abbott Laboratories plays a crucial role in supporting the Neuromodulation business by developing and implementing sales operations policies and procedures. This position is responsible for maximizing access to sales information, advising staff on problem-solving, and ensuring compliance with established practices. The specialist will also handle various administrative tasks related to sales operations, including resolving billing issues and managing logistics for products.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to USD sales operations policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement systems to maximize access to sales information.
• Act as an advisor to staff in developing solutions to problems.
• Resolve implanted not billed issues and lead resolution efforts.
• Administer credit and rebills to customers while maintaining correct accounting.
• Support the Purchase Order process for Sales Representatives.
• Resolve customer and internal department invoicing issues.
• Track and administer logistics for expired products.
• Resolve inventory issues including exchanges, returns, and backorders.
• Lead logistics for Programmers and ensure appropriate traceability.
• Coordinate contract approvals as required.
• Answer customer inquiries directed to the area level.
• Stay current on developments in the field and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Analytical and organizational skills with effective follow-up abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
