About the position

The Sales Operations Specialist at PitchBook plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the sales teams by acting as the primary point of contact for internal customers. This position involves responding to support requests, resolving issues, and providing guidance on operational processes and tools. The role requires collaboration with various departments to enhance operational efficiency and support the company's revenue growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to new requests and support tickets from internal customers (business users) within specified service level agreements.
  • Resolve issues whenever possible, ensuring minimal disruption to PitchBook's Sales teams.
  • Route requests to Revenue Operations leaders or other internal teams when greater expertise or intervention is required.
  • Provide guidance and basic training to end users on operational processes and tools to enhance their productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of support tickets, resolutions, and any necessary follow-up actions.
  • Proactively identify areas for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance the overall sales enablement function.
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors.
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or similar field.
  • 1+ years of experience in a Sales Operations or Customer Support role, preferably within a technology or SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and tools commonly used in sales enablement functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with internal customers at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation to effectively troubleshoot issues and propose solutions.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and other operational tools.
  • Willingness to adapt to evolving processes and technologies to meet the changing needs of the organization.
