About the position

The Sales Operations Specialist at Likewize is responsible for managing sales order processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, and coordinating shipping while overseeing inventory logistics. This role supports the sales team and stakeholders to enhance efficiency and compliance with company policies and industry standards, focusing on streamlining sales operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage customer accounts, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage the accurate entry of sales orders into the system and generate invoices for customers, ensuring all necessary details are included.
  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to resolve any credit and or invoicing issues or discrepancies.
  • Liaise with operations teams regarding inventory movements, order processing and shipping to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely shipping of customer orders and track shipment status to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Track, manage and communicate with customers regarding advanced shipping notices and pertinent information.
  • Assist in managing sales operations for the Likewize online sales and auction portal, including tracking inventory, processing orders, and managing customer communications.
  • Provide key insights into inventory levels and sales trends to support decision-making.
  • Liaise with the finance department to ensure credit terms align with company policies and customer profiles.
  • Coordinate with teams to authorize and manage customer returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Track inventory and sales velocity and provide insights into stock levels, sales trends, and inventory turnover to monitor fast-paced and shifting sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
