In this role as a Sales Operations Support Specialist, you will be responsible for enabling and owning many components of post-sales activity. This encompasses a wide range of actions and responsibilities that occur after a customer's order or Purchase Order is received. You will develop a deep understanding of customer needs to identify and predict their requirements effectively. This involves obtaining and coordinating information related to customer requests and requirements, and communicating directly with customers, channel partners, account managers, and other internal resources through various channels such as phone and email. Your responsibilities will include reviewing customer orders, verifying customer information, and maintaining accurate customer records and documentation. You will handle confidential customer information and ensure that all customer interactions are logged accurately and in a timely manner within data management systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for inputting and tracking orders, changes, notices, and cancellations, as well as responding to customer queries and product needs. In a fast-paced environment, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues over the phone and via email, while also analyzing problems and inquiries related to Service Level Agreements of post-sales activity. You will provide order processing, acknowledgments, and requests for information, coordinating communication to and from customers regarding product information, engineering, production, quality, testing, shipping, service, and warranty. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 2 plus years of experience or an associate's degree; or a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that permits them to work for ABB in the US.
