The Sales Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for managing orders, addressing customer inquiries, resolving order-related issues, and collaborating with various teams to optimize the order management system. This role requires maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective support throughout the order lifecycle. The specialist will interact successfully and positively in a participatory climate, working collaboratively with customers, sales, and internal teams. They will assist sales personnel in day-to-day functions around the sales process and serve as a contact for external customers, providing support that leads to increased customer satisfaction and an excellent customer experience. Responsibilities include addressing issues related to pricing, service, delivery, and technical concerns. The specialist will work with assigned sales representatives and external customers to meet and exceed sales quotas established by sales leadership. Additionally, the role involves demonstrating knowledge of the company's products and services, aiding the Contracts team in clarifying customer requirements, and providing information for quotes on renewals. The specialist must exhibit active listening skills, be curious, and willing to ask questions to understand customer needs deeply. They will manage multiple projects and customers while demonstrating data analysis and critical thinking skills. The position also includes placing purchase orders with suppliers and ensuring timely product delivery through collaboration with distribution partners. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
