About the position
The Sales Orders Processing & Installations Planning Manager at HIAB USA is responsible for overseeing the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. This role focuses on aligning sales forecasts with inventory management, procurement, and production scheduling to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The manager will collaborate with global teams to implement standardized processes and best practices across the company's installation network.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the monthly SIOP cycle, ensuring alignment across sales, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather accurate demand forecasts and translate them into actionable production and procurement plans.
- Balance inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock situations while meeting customer demand.
- Work closely with the global business operations development team to align local SIOP processes with Hiab's global strategies.
- Share and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies across Hiab's installation network to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
- Analyze trends, seasonality, and business drivers to refine demand plans continuously.
- Align production schedules with procurement activities, ensuring material availability for truck upfit operations.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery (OTD), inventory turns, and forecast accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain, operations planning, or related roles, preferably in manufacturing or truck upfit operations.
- Proven expertise in SIOP, demand planning, and inventory management processes.
- 2-4 years' experience in a manufacturing and sales environment.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and advanced planning tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
Nice-to-haves
- Master's degree preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and their application to operations planning is a plus.
