About the position

The Sales Origination Associate Director at Accenture is a growth-focused sales professional responsible for originating new sales opportunities in a complex environment. This role involves leading early-stage positioning with clients, developing and executing origination strategies, and ensuring closure of sales. The position requires deep sales process and technical expertise, as well as the ability to build relationships with key buyers and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Originate new sales opportunities unrelated to extensions or renewals.
  • Lead early stage positioning with clients.
  • Develop and execute the origination strategy to identify and qualify specific opportunities.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure closure of sales.
  • Create solutions to complex technology business problems requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.
  • Direct specific team sales activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years selling/closing deals in the professional services space, particularly in Technology Services, Cloud enablement, and Data and AI.
  • Minimum of 8 years' Sales Pursuit Management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years originating and capturing complex multi-tower service deals, preferably greater than $20M in total value.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
