About the position

The Sales Outfitter Gifts position is a part-time role focused on delivering exceptional customer service and sales support in a retail environment. The individual will engage with customers, assist them in making informed purchasing decisions, and maintain a well-organized and stocked sales area. This role emphasizes product knowledge and a commitment to creating a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Handle merchandise with care and provide information, assistance, and direction to customers.
• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service.
• Demonstrate products to customers and assist with seasonal merchandise moves.
• Replenish product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
• Restock merchandise as required and keep the work area clean and well-stocked with supplies.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.
